These two posters were designed to promote a sound installation in Wellington, New Zealand. Speakers in a CBD underpass play the sounds of a stream that once ran freely, but has since been piped under the city.
The posters are inspired by a phrase from talks with Maori locals, who described Kumutotos origins in the hills “where the stream meets sky.”
The installation has since been rededicated by council dignitaries and Director Peter Jackson, and is the cities only permanent sound installation.
